Bancroft Electronics began in a very organic way. As an employee of a local machine shop I began by repairing the shop’s CNC machinery after-hours, shortly after that work started to come in from other local shops. Soon afterwards I found myself receiving industrial electronics repairs from across the USA.
Today Bancroft Electronics is still a small after-hours operation. This allows me to offer competitive pricing since there is very little overhead. Go ahead and visit the Contact Us page and we can discuss your specific situation!
Electronics has been my hobby and passion since I was a child. During my middle and high school years I began designing specialized circuitry and repairing damaged electronics. For nearly as long I have also been a machinist with experience in EDM and CNC machining. I have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University.
I run Bancroft Electronics out of my home lab after working my days at a small machine shop. Typically repairs are mailed to me but I have the flexibility to travel to your location seven days a week, within 50 miles of Kinsman, OH.
The Bancroft Electronics lab is very well equipped to handle almost anything that comes to my door. A short list of equipment includes, multimeters, power supplies (AC and DC), signal generators, oscilloscopes, ESR meter, Megger, SMD and thru-hole soldering tools, as well as a multitude of specialized test equipment and hand tools for electronics assembly.
Any equipment requiring greater than 120VAC single phase will have to be discussed on a per job basis.
I have full access to a CNC machine shop for jobs that require custom mechanical components or modifications.
