Here is a list of implied conditions agreed to by you the ‘customer’ when using the
services of Bancroft Electronics.
- Mail in repairs must be paid in full before the item is shipped back to the customer
unless other arrangements have been made.
- Local ‘service call’ type repairs are NET 30 payment terms from the time of a finished
repair unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Consultation charges must be discussed on a per-job basis. Up front costs may be
charges as well as NET 30 charges upon completion of a project.
- All quotes are provided as estimates only. I make no promise the final pricing will
be equal to or less than the price quoted. My best efforts will be made to inform
you before a cost would exceed the quoted pricing.
- If at any time Bancroft Electronics decides the item is beyond repair or beyond our
abilities the item will be returned as-is to the customer. Charges may be applied
for return shipping, travel, parts, or labor and are subject to conditions 1 and
2.
- All advice provided by Bancroft Electronics to the customer should be verified by
a licensed electrician or other qualified professional in the pertinent field.
- Any design services provided by Bancroft Electronics are provided with no guarantees
of meeting local, national, or international design standards. Any design or prototype
unit is provided solely as a proof of concept and not a finished or marketable good.
Certifications, approvals, or related design reviews are the sole responsibility
of the customer unless otherwise explicitly arranged for.
- Bancroft Electronics repairs do not carry any standard warranty, since every repair
has its own unique set of circumstances. It is the explicit responsibility of the
customer to request a warranty term and condition for their repair before payment
is made. If no request for warranty is made then Bancroft Electronics operates under
the assumption of FOB origin.
- For all mail in repairs insurance will be provided for the return shipment. The value
of the insurance will be equal to or greater than the amount paid by the customer
for the repair or inspection.
